(High Point, NC – June 29, 2026) - Carolina Core FC announced the signing of midfielder Graham Ford, adding one of the nation's top young prospects to the squad as he begins his professional career in MLS NEXT Pro.
Ford joins the Foxes after developing at Barca Academy, where he established himself as one of the country's top young midfielders. Joining the academy ahead of the 2023-24 season, the 2009-born midfielder quickly became a key player within the program, playing an instrumental role at both the U-15 and U-16 levels over the past two seasons.
This season, Ford helped lead Barca Academy's U-16 MLS NEXT team to one of the program's most successful seasons, including a semifinal appearance at the 2025 Generation adidas Cup, a first-place finish in the MLS NEXT Southwest Division, and qualification for the 2025 MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs. His standout performances also earned him selection to the 2025 MLS NEXT All-Star Game, becoming just the third Barca Residency Academy player to receive the honor.

Ford's success at the academy level has also earned recognition on the national and international stage. He was called into the U.S. Soccer U-16 Men's Youth National Team training camp and has also trained with FC Barcelona's prestigious La Masia youth academy, most recently in October 2024. Those experiences have furthered his development and prepared him for the next step in his career.
Already recognized as one of the nation's top youth talents, Ford arrives in High Point ready to begin his professional career while continuing his development with Carolina Core FC.
