Truist Point in High Point, NC

The vision? A movement to unify the greater NC Core area through the highest level of competitive soccer in the region – and you’re at the forefront of what happens next. Whether you grew up here or are brand new to the area, this is the time to put our home on the map in a way it’s never been before. 

Truist Point will be the home pitch of the team, a multi-purpose professional sports stadium within the newly revitalized and thriving center of the Core. Opened in 2019, the $38M stadium has capacity for up to 5,000 energetic fans and will be enhanced for soccer matches prior to the inaugural season to create a synergy of community, sports, and fun.

Established in June of 2021 by Major League Soccer, MLS NEXT Pro is a new professional men’s soccer league that has begun its inaugural season in March 2022. Committed to driving a new era of North American soccer, MLS NEXT Pro will offer new opportunities to players, coaches, referees, and sports business professionals.

We’re committed to driving a new era of North American soccer and to offer exciting opportunities to players, coaches, and sports business professionals through Carolina Core FC in the MLS NEXT Pro league. 

 

The launch of the new team, set for its inaugural season in Spring 2024 in the greater NC Core, will be the region’s first and only professional level soccer team and will provide player pathways and major economic impact to the region.

 

The Core is an ideal location, with a local population of 1.7 million within 12 counties and is home to multiple club and recreational teams that will create an effective pipeline of players, soccer enthusiasts, and a diverse community of fans.

By bringing the world's game to the NC Core through first class professional soccer, we will reduce the barrier of access in the sport to lift up the community both on and off the field.
